Mechanical Engineering Graduate Society (MEGS)

The Mechanical Engineering Graduate Society (MEGS) is a student-run group committed to building a strong and supportive mechanical graduate student community. Our purpose is to support the academic, professional and social interests of the graduate students. MEGS organizes a range of activities throughout the year, including informal social events, such as games and trivia nights, to academic workshops and networking events. These initiatives aim to strengthen the sense of community and belonging among the students and foster friendships and collaborations across research groups and cohorts. In addition to organizing events, MEGS also gathers and relays student feedback on departmental matters, offering a platform for raising academic, administrative or community-related concerns.
