The Medical Innovation and Global Health Association (MIGH)
The Medical Innovation and Global Health (MIGH) Association was established to foster cross-faculty collaboration among graduate programs in Health Sciences, Business, and Engineering. MIGH aims to unite graduate students passionate about the future of healthcare, providing them with mentorship, experiential learning, and networking opportunities to drive innovation in medicine, biomedical technology, and public health on a global scale. At the heart of MIGH is a commitment to equipping young professionals with the skills and knowledge to excel as healthcare leaders of tomorrow. We strive to foster creative thinking, collaborative problem-solving, and fresh perspectives on global healthcare challenges. The association’s Board of Directors consists of nine graduate students from various health-related programs, each bringing a diverse range of perspectives and expertise to our leadership team. Together, we create a dynamic platform that leverages McMaster’s innovative ecosystem and interdisciplinary strengths, connecting students with industry leaders and global experts. Membership in MIGH is open to graduate students from all faculties. We actively welcome participation from students of all backgrounds, regardless of race, gender, nationality, disability, or sexual orientation.
